**Dodge Daddy is Marvin's Ram 1500 part-out operation in the Hamilton Region, Ontario.** It dismantles fourth-generation DS trucks (2009 to 2018), the 2019 to 2024 Ram 1500 Classic that kept that DS body, and fifth-generation DT trucks (2019 to 2026), and sells the good parts to owners fixing a work truck, upgrading a trim or repairing front-end damage. Specialising in one model means the fitment questions get answered right.

## Why only the Ram 1500?

Because a yard that takes everything knows a little about everything, and a yard that takes one truck knows where that truck breaks, which trims had which parts, and which of the three bodies a caller actually owns. The Ram 1500 is a good truck to specialise in for a reason that has nothing to do with brand loyalty: from 2019 to 2024 Ram sold the previous body as the "Classic" beside the new one, so there were two trucks with the same name on the road at once and very few shared parts. That is where most bad used-part purchases happen, and it is the first thing we sort out on every inquiry.

## What does "inspected before removal" mean?

It means the part is checked while it is still on a running truck, where a fault can be found, rather than on a shelf, where it cannot. Engines are compression tested. Transmissions are driven and checked for shifting and leaks. Electrical parts are checked working. Body panels and lamps are checked for straightness, prior repair, cracks and moisture. What we find is what we tell you, including the scuff you would rather know about before you drive over.

## Where are you, and can I come and look?

We are in the Hamilton Region, Ontario, Ontario. Pickup is preferred and is by arrangement once a part is confirmed, so the address comes with the quote rather than being published; it is a working yard, not a storefront. Smaller components can be shipped anywhere in Canada at the buyer's expense. The [ordering page](https://dodgedaddy.ca/how-to-order/) has the table of what ships and what does not.

## Who is this for?

- **Owners keeping a work truck earning.** A used tailgate, mirror or headlight at a fraction of the dealer price, fitted the same day.
- **Body shops and independent mechanics**: who need the right generation part the first time, with the paint code and the harness pin count already known.
- **People upgrading a trim.** Laramie leather into a Big Horn, LED tail lamps in place of incandescent, a Sport hood or a Rebel grille, with a straight answer about what else has to change to make it work.
- **Anyone repairing front-end damage**: who would rather buy a straight OEM fender, bumper and lamp than an aftermarket set that does not line up.

## What we are not

We are not a dealer, we do not sell new parts and we are not connected to the manufacturer. Dodge Daddy is an independent used-parts business and is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Stellantis, FCA US LLC or Ram Trucks. The names Dodge, Ram, HEMI, Pentastar, Uconnect, RamBox, TorqueFlite and Mopar belong to FCA US LLC and are used on this site only to say which trucks the parts came from. Fitment notes here are general and written from the shop floor; the quote for a specific part against a specific truck is what governs a sale, as the [terms](https://dodgedaddy.ca/terms/) say.

## How is this site written?

The guides quote the manufacturer's own press material, Transport Canada's recall database, Ontario's regulations and the NHTSA VIN decoder, with a link beside each figure so you can check it, and each page shows the date it was last updated. Where something is common shop knowledge rather than a published figure, the page says so. If you find a mistake, [tell us](https://dodgedaddy.ca/contact/) and we will fix the page.
