Used Ram 1500 front bumpers: chrome, Sport and steel
We stock used OEM Ram 1500 front bumpers in the three factory styles: chrome, the painted body-colour Sport bumper, and the heavy-duty black steel bumper fitted to Tradesman and fleet trucks, from 2009 to 2024 DS and Classic and 2019 to 2024 DT trucks. A front bumper is sold with its valance and, where the donor had them, the fog lamps, tow hooks and sensors, all listed in the quote. Every bumper is checked for dents, cracked valances, peeling chrome and bent brackets before it is tagged.

Why does the front bumper need the year and the trim?
Because on these trucks the bumper carries more than it used to. A 2013 to 2018 DS bumper may or may not have fog lamp openings and park sensor holes. A DT bumper may have sensors, fog lamps and a radar bracket, and a Rebel or Sport bumper has a different lower valance and tow-hook cutouts. If you buy a bumper without the holes your truck needs, the fog lamps have nowhere to go; if you buy one with holes you do not need, you have holes. So we ask for the trim and a photo of the old bumper.
Does a DS bumper fit a DT, or the other way round?
No. The DT is a wider truck with a different frame horn spacing and a different grille and headlamp line, so its bumper and brackets are its own. Within the DS, the 2013 to 2024 bumper family does not fit the 2009 to 2012 front end either, because the grille and headlamps changed height in the 2013 refresh.
What is checked on a used bumper?
- Impact bar and brackets, for bends. A bent bracket means the bumper has taken a hit and is sold as such or scrapped.
- Chrome, for peeling and salt pitting on the top face where slush sits.
- Valance and cover, for cracks and broken clips, especially the lower lip that meets curbs.
- Sensors and lamps, checked working on the donor where fitted.
How do I take a bumper home?
Pickup is preferred. A DS chrome bumper fits in the bed of a Ram with the gate up; a DT bumper is wider and wants an open bed or trailer. We do not normally ship bumpers.
