Used Ram 1500 front fenders, colour coded

We sell used OEM Ram 1500 front fenders from 2009 to 2026 trucks, each tagged with the donor's factory paint code so you can choose between a straight colour match and a cheaper repaint candidate. A used original fender lines up with the hood, door and bumper the way an aftermarket panel often does not, and on a colour match it saves the whole paint bill. Fenders are sold with the inner liner where the donor's is good and with the badge if it was on the panel. Each one is checked for straightness, prior repair and rust at the rear lower corner before it is tagged.

Rebel and Warlock trucks carry the same fender stamping with different flares and badges; the flares come with the fender when the donor had them.

Where is my paint code and what do the common ones mean?

The code is on the label in the driver's door jamb, three characters starting with P. Codes you will see on these trucks include PXJ (Diamond Black Crystal), PW7 (Bright White), PAU (Granite Crystal), PSC (Billet Silver), PRV (Delmonico Red), PAR (Maximum Steel), PBU (Patriot Blue) and PGW (Black Forest Green). A fender in your code is a bolt-on; a fender in another code is a body-shop panel and priced as such. Note that two trucks in the same code can still differ slightly with age and sun, which is why we photograph the panel next to a reference before you drive over.

What does a straight used fender save?

The paint and blend. A new fender arrives in primer and needs painting and blending into the door and hood, which is most of the cost of replacing a fender. A used original in your colour bolts on with the same profile and the same paint system the rest of the truck has, so the match is as good as the two trucks' fading allows. For a work truck that is the difference between a fender job and a body-shop job.

Where does a Ram 1500 fender rust?

At the rear lower corner behind the front wheel, where the inner liner traps salt and slush, and along the top edge under the hood seal on older DS trucks. We check both. Aluminum DT fenders do not rust in the same way but do corrode at fastener points, and they dent rather than spring back.

What is checked on a used fender?

  • Straightness along the wheel arch and the door line.
  • Prior repair, paint thickness and filler.
  • Rust at the rear lower corner and top edge.
  • Mounting points and the inner liner condition.

How do I take a fender home?

Pickup, padded. A fender fits inside most vehicles with the seats down. We can ship a fender on request but do not recommend it, because a fender that arrives creased has lost the thing you paid for.
