Used Ram 1500 headlights: quad, projector and LED
We carry used OEM Ram 1500 headlight assemblies from three families: the 2013 to 2018 DS and Classic quad halogen and halogen-projector lamps, in chrome or Sport black bezels, and the 2019 to 2026 DT lamps in the three variations Stellantis lists, halogen, full LED and full LED with adaptive front lighting. Every lamp is checked for cracks, moisture, yellowing, broken mounting tabs and working bulbs or LEDs before it is tagged. Side, bezel colour and lamp type are confirmed against your truck before you buy.
Which headlight is on which truck?
The 2013 refresh gave the DS "improved quad projection headlamps and LED front turn signals", described in the press kit as a "bi-functional halogen projector design with 15 amber LEDs for park/turn/position lamp". The 2019 DT launched with "three headlamp variations": "Halogen, full LED and full LED with Adaptive Front-lighting System (AFS)".

Can I put LED headlights on my halogen truck?
On a DT, physically yes, and it is the most common upgrade we are asked about. It is not a plug-in job: the LED lamp uses a different connector and draws differently, so it needs the matching harness or adapter and the body computer told what is fitted, or you get warnings and a lamp that does not behave. On a DS, the factory never offered a full LED headlamp, so the honest upgrade is a projector lamp in place of a reflector one. We will tell you what else you need with the lamp rather than let you find out on the driveway.
What do you check on a used headlight?
- Lens for cracks, rock chips and yellowing. A DS lamp that has gone cloudy is graded and priced as such, never sold as clear.
- Moisture inside the housing, and the vent caps present.
- Mounting tabs, which are the first thing to break on a lamp that has been in a collision. A lamp with a broken tab is sold as such or not at all.
- Function. Low, high, turn signal and, on LEDs, the daytime running light strip lit and even.
Why is one side often in stock and the other not?
Because front-end collisions are one-sided. A truck hit on the driver's side leaves us a good passenger lamp. If you need a pair for a colour or bezel match, say so, and we will tell you whether we have a matched pair or one good side and a donor coming.
