Used Ram 1500 doors, Crew Cab and Quad Cab

We sell used OEM Ram 1500 doors for Crew Cab and Quad Cab trucks, front and rear, from 2009 to 2026. A door is sold complete unless you ask otherwise: shell, glass, regulator and motor, latch, exterior handle, mirror mount and, where the donor had it, the interior trim panel and switches. Every door is sold with the donor's factory paint code. Front doors interchange across a body; rear doors do not swap between a Quad Cab and a Crew Cab, because the Quad's rear door is shorter. Doors are checked for straightness, rust along the bottom seam and prior repair before they are tagged.

Why is a Quad Cab rear door different from a Crew Cab rear door?

Because the Quad Cab is a shorter cab. Stellantis's Canadian fact sheet for the 2019 Ram 1500 Classic lists the Quad Cab only with the 6-foot-4 box and the Crew Cab with the 5-foot-7 or 6-foot-4 box, which is the shape of it: the Crew Cab is longer, its rear doors are full size and its rear seat has more legroom; the Quad Cab's rear doors are noticeably shorter. Same glass shape at the front, different door at the back. Tell us which cab you have, or send a photo of the truck from the side.

Within a body the shell interchanges, but the contents may not: a power window door from a Laramie has a different switch pack and harness from a Tradesman door with manual locks, and a DT door with the blind-spot mirror and memory seat switches carries more wiring. We sell the shell complete with what the donor had and tell you what it is, so you can move your own trim panel and switches over if they differ.

Where does a Ram 1500 door rust?

Along the bottom seam, inside the lower door skin where the drain holes block, and around the mirror mount on trucks that have lived through Ontario winters. We look inside every door shell with a light, and a door with bottom-seam rust is described as such and priced as a shell for a body shop, not as a bolt-on. A door from a truck that spent its life somewhere drier is worth the difference, and we say where a door is from when we know.

What is checked on a used door?

  • Straightness at the hinges and the striker, and the gap when hung on the donor.
  • Prior repair: paint-thickness check and a look for filler.
  • Glass, regulator and motor run up and down on the donor.
  • Latch and handle working, key cylinder present on front doors that have one.
  • Rust, as above.

How do I take a door home?

Pickup only, laid flat on a blanket or stood on edge and strapped. We do not ship doors. The ordering page has the table.
